Red warning signs: What dots on the scalp can mean

To prevent allergies, products with a mild formulation that are suitable even for sensitive skin are recommended. Burns: Washing your hair with hot water or blow-drying it on a high setting can lead to a reddened scalp. You can avoid this problem by air-drying your hair or using the hairdryer on the lowest setting at a sufficient distance. Lukewarm water is enough to sufficiently cleanse the hair. Mechanical stress: Are you wearing a tight braid? Do you rub your hair dry after washing it? This can irritate the scalp and lead to inflammation. In most cases, however, this is due to a cheap plastic hairbrush whose bristles leave scratches on the surface of the skin. It is better to use brushes with natural bristles to gently detangle your hair. It is gentler on your hair if you squeeze it out with a towel after washing. If you wear it loose more often, this reduces the pull on the hair roots.
